Bill Bradshaw celebrates the events of that summer 50 years on, featuring almost 200 pages packed with first-hand accounts from organisers, performers and fans who flocked to the event, bringing alive that gilded summer.
This was a fun project to work on, full of amazing pics and ephemera. Myself and Luke who designed it really wanted this book to be accessible to all, not just the people who attended the festival. Looking at it now, it feels like a Pendle Press production, as me and Luke work on the majority of the titles there.
