I connected with the Whitefield Youth Association during covid, keen to hear of director Hamid Khan's battles receiving funding for his project, which has been providing sports facilities to children in a deprived part of my hometown since the 2001 race riots. I introduced Nik Hartley to him, and he took these incredible pictures capturing the essence of the project.
