Marcus Intalex was a universally revered drum & bass producer/DJ until his untimely death in 2017. This illustrated oral history weaves together memories from Marcus' inner circle, unpublished photos and artwork, celebrating his trailblazing life and career.
"Someone should write a book about him," I said to my friend Jen on a dog walk back in 2019, talking about the passing of Marcus Intalex, a drum n bass DJ from my hometown. I soon realised that if no one was gonna do it, perhaps I should. I sought out Mark O'Donnell, the most qualified writer and DJ to piece together Marcus's story, conducting interviews with people in the industry and those closest to Marcus. The end result couldn't have been better, paired with Velocity Press and Luke Pajak's design execution.
